Civil unrest in East Timor

Due to the severe level of civil unrest in East Timor, we would like to advise the following with regards to those who hold a Mike Henry Travel Insurance policy.

For policies issued prior to 25 May 2006.
Anyone who was in East Timor and has been directly affected will be covered under the terms and conditions of their policy and are encouraged to contact IAG Emergency Assist for support. Anyone who was travelling to East Timor will be covered for cancellations costs under the terms and conditions of their policy. Any traveller who continues to travel to East Timor will not be covered under the terms of a Mike Henry Travel Insurance Policy.

For policies issued on, or after, 25 May 2006.
Anyone who continues to travel to East Timor will not be covered under the terms and conditions of a Mike Henry Travel Insurance Policy. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and will notify you of any changes as they occur.
