Terrorist Warnings

Yesterday the Australian Government issued a warning of the possibility of an imminent attack on Westerners in Indonesia (including Bali), saying that terrorists were in the advanced stages of preparing strikes.

Please note that Mike Henry Travel Insurance policies have had an embargo in place for travel to Indonesia from October 2005, with no cover for any Terrorist related activity.

All policies issued to Indonesia, including Bali and Lombok, must include the following endorsement to highlight the above amendment to cover. (This can be copied and pasted into the notes field of eSure and will then be printed on the Policy Coupon or can be printed and added to the policy terms & conditions - an easy to print version of the endorsement can be downloaded from the Mike Henry Website under ‘useful forms/Indonesia Endorsement April06’).

Amendment to Travel Insurance Cover updated 21 April 2006

There is no cover available under TERRORISM (Leisure Travel - Section 8/Business Travel - Section 9/Global Edge - Section 6/Pacific Rim - Section 4) for all travel to Indonesia, including Bali and Lombok.
