IAG New Zealand Limited acquires Mike Henry Travel Insurance

On 1 July 2006, Mike Henry Travel Insurance will become a wholly owned part of IAG New Zealand Limited (IAG NZ).

Mike Henry Travel Insurance and specialist IAG NZ travel insurance staff will join forces to form the new IAG NZ travel insurance business, combining the capabilities of two experienced travel teams and operating as one unit through multiple brands.

Although Mike Henry Travel Insurance and specialist IAG NZ staff will be operating as one team, it will be ‘business as usual’ for travel insurance through Mike Henry Travel Insurance.

Mike Henry Travel Insurance will continue to specialise in travel insurance and is backed by IAG NZ’s AA (Very Strong) Standard and Poor’s rating, which reflects their claims paying ability.
