Mike Henry Travel Insurance supports ‘Safe Travel’ campaign

Last week Foreign Minister Winston Peters launched a new campaign to raise public awareness of the importance of preparing properly for overseas travel. The ‘Safe Travel’ campaign was developed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade with the support of insurers, travel agents, and airlines.

As an insurer it’s important to promote safe travel and inform travellers of the risks and potential trouble spots when planning a trip overseas.

We’re delighted to have been invited to participate in a safe travel advisory group that has been established to work with the Ministry to review the programme and assist in its further development.
