DAY 1: JOHANNESBURG
Day at leisure in Johannesburg. We are met by our guide at the hotel reception for a briefing at +-18h00 (dinner own arrangements). City Lodge Bryanston (or similar). (Accommodation on a bed & breakfast basis).

DAY 2/3: KRUGER NATIONAL PARK 
We travel to this famous wildlife sanctuary, the oldest in Africa, which has 130 species of mammals, 114 species of reptiles, 468 species of birds and 300 varieties of trees. During game drives we observe zebra, giraffe, buffalo, lion, elephant etc. Rest camps/guesthouse (or similar). (Breakfast and dinner).

DAY 4/5: MKHUZE GAME RESERVE - ZULULAND
From special hides, we have the opportunity to see a wealth of game such as black and white rhino, giraffe, nyala, kudu, wildebeest, suni etc. The Nsumo Pan has numerous waterbirds. Rest camp (or similar). (Breakfast and dinner).

DAY 6: GOLDEN GATE NATIONAL PARK - DRAKENSBERG
Massive golden sandstone cliffs tower over a grassy plateau forming an impressive sight when entering this park nestled among the Drakensberg Mountains. Golden Gate Protea (or similar). (Breakfast and dinner).

DAY 7: LESOTHO
We cross the border into the Kingdom of Lesotho driving through picturesque mountain scenery and experiencing the unique tribal life of the area. Malealea Lodge (or similar). (Breakfast and dinner).

DAY 8: THE KAROO
Discover the grandeur of the Karoo Heartland, with its vast plains, majestic mountains and sweeping skies. The picturesque towns are steeped in history and reflect the bygone era of the English and Dutch settlers. Tuishuise Hotel Cradock (or similar). (Breakfast and dinner).

DAY 9: THE GARDEN ROUTE - KNYSNA
We leave the interior and head towards the coast to the famed "Garden Route". Your guide will arrange dinner out at one of the many popular restuarants in this picturesque coastal town situated on the beautiful Knysna lagoon. Knysna Hollow (or similar). (Breakfast and dinner).

DAY 10: THE GARDEN ROUTE - OUDTSHOORN
Travelling through quaint villages along the Garden Route we visit an Ostrich Farm with an authentic "Feather Palace" (Homestead built during the boom days before 1914) and explore the Cango Caves, which are amongst the most spectacular in the world consisting of a fantastic collection of stalactites and stalagmites. Queens Hotel (or similar). (Breakfast and dinner).

DAY 11/12: WINE ROUTE - STELLENBOSCH OR PAARL
Our day includes tasting wines at a wine estate and visiting the historic town of Stellenbosch and the beautiful Franschhoek Valley. Devon Valley Hotel (or similar). (Breakfast and dinner).

DAY 13/14: CAPE TOWN
The Mother City lies in a breathtaking setting between Table Mountain and Table Bay. We take a cable car up Table Mountain, one of the world’s most well known landmarks (weather permitting). A leisurely drive to the Cape of Good Hope takes us through the scenic village of Hout Bay, and awe-inspiring Chapman’s Peak. City Lodge Victoria & Alfred Waterfront (or similar). (Breakfast only).

DAY 15: CAPE TOWN
The tour ends after breakfast.

The itinerary will depend on local conditions. Some departures operate in reverse.
