Constantly evolving, China seems to reinvent itself every few years so a city such as Beijing or Shanghai can almost seem unrecognisable from one visit to the next. China has so much to offer the traveller, with such well known icons as the Great Wall and the Forbidden City, the marvellous Terracotta Warriors and the winding Yangtze River. While these places may seem crowded with tourists there is always another just waiting to be discovered filled with their own sense of adventure and charm. China is a country full of contradictions, so advanced in some aspects and seemingly behind in others, it never fails to fascinate and capture the imagination. From mountains, deserts and paddy fields to the juggernaut of cities such as Shanghai you can be guaranteed that any journey to China will be a memorable one.

TOURS TO MAINLAND CHINA

SHENZHEN EXCURSION + LO WU CITY SHOPPING TOUR
Kill two birds with one stone. You can catch a glimpse of China while visiting Hong Kong by joining this tour. Spend a day in Shenzhen – "City of Century and Window of China" that stands towering before the people from all over the world, and make your exciting trip in the Orient more perfect.
SHEKOU is located in the southern part of Nantau Peninsula, and an important part of Shenzhen which is named the first Special Economic zone of China. There are many places of Chinese culture and historic ruins to be discovered.

Pick up from hotel lobby for departure fro China boarder, Transfer to Chiwan Port located in Shekou where there is a rich exhibit of historic sites. These include ancient emplacements and the statue of Lin Zexu – a Chinese hero during the Opium War; and the mausoleum of Emperor Bing – the last emperor of the South Song Dynasty.

A visit to the Lo Wu Shopping Mall will give you opportunities not only to shop but also to bargain. You may enjoy choosing your favourites from a large variety of goods and bargaining with local shops (approx 4 hours). What you need is a shopping list. Remember to bring adequate cash and an extra pair of helping hands!

You will be guided to visit an arts and crafts souvenir store where one can appreciate hand-crafted ornaments from a vast variety of mineral stones. Depart from Shenzhen to Hong Kong at approximately 10 pm and transfer back to your hotel.

SHEKOU/GUANGZHOU TOUR
This tour includes a pick up from your hotel to the pier for a 45 minute hovercraft ride to Shekou. Upon arrival you will visit the city of Shekou, the first special economic zone in China. The tour then includes a visit to a local kindergarten where you will be entertained by a singing and dance performance by the Children (excludes school holidays). Then onto a stunning exhibition of the world famous Terracotta Warriors on loan from their excavation site in Xian. There will also be time to visit Shenzhen Safari Park. We then drive onto Guangzhou, the Capital of the Guangdong Province. Here we will be hosted to a Chinese lunch followed by a visit to the Six Baiyan Temple and view Dr Sun’s Yat-sen Memorial Halloctagonal building designed in a palatial style. There will be some time for shopping at the Free Market before we return by train to Hong Kong and then transferred back to your accommodation.

SHANGHAI SIGHTSEEING

Situated in the middle of east China’s coast, Shanghai is the largest and most populous city in the country, and is one of the largest cities in the world with a population of 16,000,000. Shanghai is China’s main centre for industry, commerce, foreign trade, science and technology. Ever changing and rapidly modernizing, Shanghai is a popular destination for tourists and can be full of surprises.

SHANGHAI CITY TOUR
Visit the Yuyuan Garden, in the old Chinese city. This area of the city is a maze of narrow, cobblestone lanes, tea houses and dumpling shops. Also visit one of Shanghai’s few Buddhist temples, the Jade Temple and take a stroll along the waterfront - The Bund. Tour includes Lunch.

SUZHOU BY TRAIN
Travel by train from Shanghai to Suzhou one of the cities of the Grand Canal. It is a friendly town of cobbled streets, white walled and black tiled houses, Myriad Canals crossed by stone and arched bridges. Suzhou is the centre of China’s silk industry and you will also visit a silk factory. Lunch Included.

BEIJING SIGHTSEEING

Beijing had been the Capital of four Dynasties before the founding of PRC. It’s Great Wall, splendid palaces, beautiful gardens, old temples, a considerable variety of exhibitions and museums and former residences of celebrities show its glorious history and civilization. Today more than 260 places of interest have been opened to the public. Besides these places of interest, the natural scenery of Beijing’s suburbs also attracts great many visitors with its charms, hills, lakes, hot springs, karst cave and so forth. Beijing is not only a world-famous city for its tourism but also a good medium for you to know more about China, a time-honoured country, and the Chinese, a diligent and wise nation.

GREAT WALL AND MING TOMBS
Walk along the Great Wall, Marvel at the stone animals of the sacred way and go underground into the Ming Tombs. Also included is a tour of a cloisonné factory, the handcrafted ceramics for which Beijing is famous. Lunch is included.

BEIJING CITY TOUR
