HERITAGE TOUR
Tour begins with a visit to one of the oldest Chinese Temples in Singapore: the Thien Hock Keng Temple, which is more than 160 years old. The unique wooden structures and wood carvings were built and assembled without using any nails. Next stop is the Chinatown Heritage Centre. Discover and trace the journeys, beliefs and myths of early Chinese migrants who made their way to Singapore. Gain an insight into their lives and experience for yourself the hardship of living in the dark and cramped quarters they built in Chinatown. Last stop is the Kampong Glam - the old Arab quarters. Learn about the practice of Islam in this part of the world at the sultan Mosque. JURONG BIRDPARK

This tour takes you to rual parts of Malaysia, to Kukup, a small fishing village built on stilts in the sea at the south-western tip of Malaysia. MALACCA TOUR - MALAYSIA SIGHTSEEING
Malacca, is the seat of the 15th century Malay Sultanate, which was colonised by the Portuguese, Dutch and British conquerors who sought to control the whole region and the lucrative space trade. Malacca is a quiet town but history abounds. Walk the streets where Malay fold heroes such as Hang Tuah once did around 1400 A.D. Visit historical sites such as St Paul's Hill, where St Francis Xavier preached three centuries ago; Chen Hoon Teng, the oldest Chinese Temple in Malaysia and Porta De Santiago, the Portuguese fortress, rubber palm oil and coconut plantations in your drive to Malacca and stop at a pewter factory to see how pewter is transformed into useful decorative objects. CLIMATE
Singapore has a typically tropical climate and the temperature almost never drops below 20°C at night and usually climbs to 30°C or more during the day. Rain, when it comes tends to be short and sharp with the wettest period from November to January and the driest from May to July although there is no dramatic difference between the two periods.
LANGUAGE
English is the principal language of education, however, Mandarin, Malay and Tamil are widely spoken. The only communication problem you may have is with older Singaporeans who did not learn English at school.
