If that's not enough get out and see the unique Gannet Colony at Cape Kidnappers or swim with the dolphins and learn about the penguin recovery programme at Marineland. All this set against the spectacular backdrop of the sparkling Pacific Ocean makes this region a must see!

NAPIER ART DECO TOURS
Napier is a unique city that was destroyed by earthquake and fire in 1931 and was rebuilt in the styles of the times - Spanish Mission, Stripped Classical and Art Deco - the style that expressed the confidence and optimism of the early 20th century. Enjoy a guided walk including a slide presentation, a 1 1/2 hour walk with an accredited guide and a copy of the Art Deco Walk booklet.

HAWKES BAY WINE TOUR
Enjoy a day visiting 4-5 top wineries including Bookfields, Church Road, Kemblefield and Sileni (please note these are subject to change). There is ample time for wine tastings and a vineyard lunch (not included in the price). This is a great way to enjoy some of the best Hawke's Bay has on offer.

ON YER BIKE WINERY TOURS
Cycle with On Yer Bike Winery Tours and enjoy a slice of the Golden Hawkes Bay, boasting some of the country's finest vineyards. Glide past olive groves, ostrich farms, orchards and horse studs all on flat terrain. You will be provided with a mountain bike (tandems available on request), a refreshment pack, a detailed map and a cellphone in case you need wine purchased en-route collected or you simply run out of puff and need a lift in the 4WD! A great way to visit some of Hawkes Bay's icon wineries - Trinity Hill, Te Awa Farm, Ngatarawa and Sileni Estate.

GANNET SAFARI TOURS
The tour departs from Summerlee Station, board a coach that traverses riverbeds, broad rolling pastures, through stands of native bush, steep gullies and breathtaking inclines. There is a stop on the way at a spectacular cliff top with panoramic views of Hawkes Bay right to Mahia Peninsula. The amazing geology of the area can also be taken in. The 3 hour trip includes a commentary by the tour guide on the farming operation on Summerlee and an introduction to the gannets.

BALLOON FLIGHTS
Flights take place from Stortford Lodge, Hastings, in the early morning. Hawkes Bay is a perfect setting for ballooning with wide open spaces, orchards, vineyards and a picturesque mountain background. Balloons are launched to give the best advantage of wind direction and part of ballooning is that you never know in advance of where you might land. The river beds around Hastings are the most popular landing sites. The pilot is in constant radio contact with the chase vehicle and Air Traffic Control. After the flight you will be provided with a traditional ballooning breakfast.
