WINGS OVER WHALES
From the air you can experience the true scale and magic of the world's largest mammal, the whale. Enjoy this famous flight adventure in the comfort and safety of a modern aircraft. The duration of the flight is 30 minutes, but allow 10 minutes prior to the flight for an introduction to the whales and a demonstration of the safety procedures of the aircraft. Sperm whales, seals and dolphins are seen on most flights, the aircraft operates below 1000ft and descends to 500ft to view the whales. No guarantee is possible but all endeavours will be made to show you a whale, the experienced pilot will extend the flight if he considers it will be helpful.

DOLPHIN ENCOUNTER
Take advantage of Dolphin Encounter's wealth of experience in introducing visitors to the delights of a wonderful marine environment, close to the beautiful Kaikoura coastline. Swimming with or watching the dusky dolphins is something very special. Tours operate in the open ocean and are exposed to the elements of the open waters, those being swell and wind. Depending on the conditions of the day, the tour can be subject to sea conditions and it is important to note that some people become seasick. The tour operates under a permit system that restricts the number of dolphin swimmers allowed in the water. For this reason tours are heavily in demand over the summer months (November to April), during this time it is not unusual for tours to be booked out weeks in advance for swimming spaces. Therefore it is advisable to book well ahead if you want to book a dolphin swim or viewing and experience these wonderful creatures up close.

ALBATROSS ENCOUNTER WITH OCEAN WINGS
Albatross Encounter is a dedicated bird watching tour by boat, offering you the opportunity to "get up close and personal" to the magnificent albatross which are found off the beautiful Kaikoura Coast. Kaikoura offers the unique opportunity of seeing the largest number of species of ocean going bird for any coastal area of similar size in the world. See up to 11 species of albatross, as well as petrels, shearwaters, terns and gulls. Trip duration is approximately 2.5 to 3 hours.
Tours operate daily weather permitting.

WHALE WATCH
