NZONE THE ULTIMATE JUMP!

The legend of AJ Hackett started in June 1987 when AJ jumped from the Eiffel Tower into the international spotlight - from here the bungy legend was born. AJ Hackett Bungy were the world's first bungy operator to be awarded the prestigious 'S' mark for quality and safety. Today AJ Hackett Bungy operates three Queenstown Bungy Experiences:
Kawarau Bridge Bungy
43m above the crystal waters of the Kawarau River this was the world's first bungy bridge that was established in 1988. You can jump solo or in tandem and if you are keen there is the option of taking a splashdown in the river!
The Ledge Bungy
Ride the gondola up to Skyline for panoramic views of Lake Wakatipu. This purpose built bungy platform was designed to provide the maximum rush with a 47m jump combined with more bungy choices than ever before - in a Harness, The Big Swan Dive or the Reverse Elevator! Night jumps in winter are also possible.
Nevis Highwire Bungy
Time to get tough, if you want to do the biggest, here it is - 134m above the Nevis River. This adventure kicks off with a 35 minute ride, including 4-wheel-driving through a high country sheep station. Get your harnesses on and climb aboard the cable car for a breathtaking trip out to the jump pod. You're standing on the edge of a structure hanging from 380m long cables which span the valley. Even coming out as a spectator will be enough to test your nerve!

Shotover River
Begin with an unforgettable coach trip from Queenstown on the historic Skippers Road along old goldminers trails to the Skippers Canyon (in summer only) during winter you will have a helicopter ride to Skippers Canyon where you will meet you river guides who will run through a comprehensive safety and paddle techniques briefing. Then get into it! Rafting from Deep Creek over peaceful waters at first then onto exhilarating rapids of the lower Canyon.

Kawarau River
Ideal for first time rafters with stretches of quiet water to allow plenty of time to practice your techniques before passing through four exciting rapids that make this trip a great introduction to the thrills of white water rafting.

SKYLINE GONDOLA
Enjoy a spectacular view as you rise up 450 metres on the side of Bob's Peak to look over Queenstown, the beautiful Lake Wakatipu and across to the mountains. The best views of the whole region spread before you in a magnificent panorama. Once at the top, observation decks around the complex afford breathtaking views from Coronet Peak to the north, The Remarkables to the east and across Lake Wakatipu to Cecil and Walter Peaks in the south-west. There is also the Skyline restaurant, open for lunch and dinner or the Skyline coffee shop for a snack. For those thrill seekers, there is something to keep you happy too - hurtle round a scenic, winding downhill Luge track above the Skyline Complex - once is never enough!
TSS EARNSLAW CRUISE
Enjoy a one and a half hour scenic cruise on the coal fired vintage steamship TSS Earnslaw. You will cruise form Queenstown Bay across the beautiful Lake Wakatipu to Walter Peak High Country Farm, if you chose cruise only you will turn around here and return to Queenstown. If you chose the Walter Peak Excursion you will disembark here and you can experience farming life, you are taken on a walking tour of the farmyard there is ample opportunity to view the farm animals - sheep, red deer, and Scottish Highland cattle. After the farmyard tour there is time to do a little shopping and view a wool spinning demonstration before boarding the TSS Earnslaw for the return cruise to Queenstown.
TSS EARNSLAW DINNER CRUISE
Relax and enjoy a scenic cruise in the evening aboard the TSS Earnslaw across Lake Wakatipu to Walter Peak. During the cruise, pre-dinner drinks may be purchased onboard and listen to the pianist play a few old favourites. On disembarking at Walter Peak you will be warmly welcomed into the Colonels Homestead where you will be seated to enjoy a delicious carvery style buffet followed by some tempting desserts. An excellent range of wine and other beverages are available for purchase. After dinner there is time to relax or an option of a brief farm show, before returning on board the TSS Earnslaw and cruising your way back to Queenstown.
FULL DAY WINE TOUR
A superb trip through the best of Central Otago - includes six vineyard visits at Alexandra, Bannockburn, Wanaka and/or Gibbston Valley and includes all tastings - lunch - afternoon cheese or fruit selection - cellar or cave tour. Vineyards may include Black Ridge, Springvale, William Hill, Mt Difficulty, Mt Micheal, Packspur, Rippon, Mt Edward, Peregrine, Gibbston Valley, Chard Farm.

MILFORD SOUND SCENIC CRUISE
Take the luxury glass top coach from Queenstown to Milford Sound the scenery is so spectacular along the way it is great to be able to sit back and enjoy the scenery through panoramic windows and the glass roof. Once at Milford you will cruise the sound in a spacious modern vessel through the full length of the sound. Along the way see luxuriant rainforest that clings to sheer rock walls washed with waterfalls. In the foreground stands Mitre Peak, a majestic presence dominating the skyline.
