San Diego is a vibrant holiday destination in it’s own right, there is so much to see and do… No visit to San Diego would be complete without visiting the spectacular and world renowned SeaWorld where you can enjoy the antics of Shamu© the famous killer whale. Other popular attractions include the San Diego Zoo and the Wildlife Park – both feature great examples of wild animals in captivity. The Gaslamps region of San Diego city offers an array of exciting restaurants, entertainment and nightlife. For something different, cross the border to Mexico and enjoy the bargain shopping of Tijuana. Spring is a particularly beautiful time to be in San Diego (Apr/May) when you can see many pretty wild flowers growing all over the hills surrounding the city.

GETTING TO SAN DIEGO

2 hour scenic coastal journey between Anaheim and San Diego, pick up from most Anaheim hotels. Passengers from LA downtown and airport will need to take the Airport Bus to the Anaheim depot to connect with the San Diego departure.

Departs Los Angeles area 6am - 7.30 am
Arrives Anaheim/Buena Park 8.15am - 8.30am

Arrives Anaheim approximately 2pm - at this time all Anaheim area drop-offs will be made, followed by Los Angeles drop-offs.

SELF DRIVE
A great way to explore the lovely coastline in your own time. The highways from Anaheim and LA to San Diego are easily marked with wide lanes in both directions. Stop for lunch at Laguna Beach or in famous San Juan Capistrano.

AIRPORT TRANSFERS
Whilst many of the hotels offer free transportation to the airport, it is often quicker to take a taxi on arrival.

 
SIGHTSEEING TOURS

SAN DIEGO CITY TOUR
Includes downtown's famous Gaslamp Quarter, the Embarcadero, Balboa Park, Old Town, and La Jolla. Tour length 4 hours, departs daily 9am.

CITY TOUR & HARBOUR CRUISE
Includes tour as per above plus a one hour narrated tour of San Diego Harbour. Taking in the US Navy fleet, the Coronado Bay Bridge, and the downtown skyline. Tour length 5 hours, departs daily 9am.

LEGOLAND TOUR
LEGOLAND® California is built for fun with more than 50 rides, shows and attractions you and your family are sure to enjoy. Hop on Coastersaurus and take a journey through a time-forgotten prehistoric jungle. Dig for life-like fossils at Dig those Dinos. Or, pump up the fun as you race to hose down a burning building at Fun Town Fire Academy. It’s an entire day filled with fun!

TIJUANA MEXICO TOUR
Spend all day or just a few hours the choice is yours! Shop for authentic Mexican handicrafts, leather goods and silver while bargaining for the best price. Tour length 4 - 8 hours, departs daily 9am or 2pm.

ENSENADA MEXICO TOUR
Journey south along the Baja coastline for breathtaking views of the ocean and peninsula. Includes lunch in the seaport town of Ensenada, where you will be able to stroll around the local shops for great souvenirs. Includes lunch. Tour length 9 hours, departs daily 9am.

WILD ANIMAL PARK
The San Diego Wild Animal Park is a scenic wildlife preserve where many of the earth's rarest animals roam in herds and flocks in vast expanses similar to their native homelands of Africa and Asia. More than 3,200 animals represent more than 400 species.

SAN DIEGO ZOO
Explore 100 lush acres of scenic grounds at Balboa Park, housing 3,200 animals, most of whom live in bar-less moated enclosures similar to their homes in the wild. Enjoy a 5 kilometre guided double decker bus tour and Children's Zoo - housing the zoo nursery and the Skyfari aerial tram.

Shamu's Happy Harbor®, with net climbs, water mazes and a pirate ship, is an awesome play place for the kids, and grown-ups too! But see the shows first, because once you start playing, you won't want to stop.
Choose from a wide variety of restaurants with mouth-watering menu choices, including fresh-grilled seafood, ribs, bountiful salads, Italian delights and much more.
