OVERVIEW
To visit San Francisco is to experience a unique city much different from any other US city. San Francisco has several transport options to get around and see it’s famous attractions, by bus, train, walk or by the famous San Francisco Cable Car! Fishermans Wharf is 2nd only to Disneyland Resort as the most visited attraction in California. This area has famous landmarks such as Ghiradelli Square, The Cannery and the world famous Pier 39. It is from the Fishermans Wharf area that you can take tours to Alcatraz or a Bay tour to view the famed Golden Gate Bridge. Union Square is another popular area of San Francisco where you will find a number of the well known department stores and some great restaurants, as well as many of our preferred hotels. San Francisco is also the gateway for taking tours to the famous Napa Valley wine district, the quaint seaside port of Sausalito, Muir Woods, Monterey, Carmel, Hearst Castle and Yosemite.

SIGHTSEEING

CALIFORNIA WINE COUNTRY
Enjoy the beauty, sights and tastes of the wine country. Begin by crossing the Bay Bridge towards Napa Valley. Includes wine tasting and tours of some of the best vineyards in California. Tour length 9 hours, departs 9am daily.

DELUXE CITY TOUR
Highlights include the Civic Centre, the new Main Library, Opera House, Davies Symphony Hall and Old Mission Dolores. Cross the magnificent Golden Gate bridge and enjoy the spectacular view from Vista Point. The tour finishes at Fisherman's Wharf. Tour length 3.5 - 4 hours, departs 9am, 11am and 2pm daily.

MUIR WOODS & SAUSALITO
Crossing the famous Golden Gate Bridge to visit one of the few remaining groves of Coastal Redwoods (among the tallest and oldest trees in existence). Upon arrival at Muir Woods take a leisurely stroll on the "Nature Trail". Then on to Sausalito, a unique Mediterranean-like village of art galleries, houseboats and quaint shops with views across the San Francisco Bay. Tour length 3.5 hours, departs 9am & 2pm Daily.

YOSEMITE BY TRAIN
Start your journey by coach to Amtrak's Emeryville Station, where you will board the train and wind through California's famous San Joaquin Valley. At the Merced Station you will then board a motorcoach and receive a box lunch as you continue on your narrated tour of Yosemite Valley and the surrounding countryside. Highlights include Inspiration Point, Half Dome, El Capitan and Bridal Veil Falls. Tour length 15 hours, departs 6.30am Mon/Wed/Fri.

MONTEREY/BAY AQUARIUM/CARMEL
Take a tour down California’s rugged Central Coast, through Santa Cruz a classic beach/surf town. visit Steinbeck’s Cannery Row, once an industrial street famous for sardines and known for the characters in John Steinbeck’s novel ‘Cannery Row’. Find seaside exploration and shopping in Monterey. Visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium, then cruise along 17-Mile Drive and the art gallery/restaurant district of Carmel, a picturesque and beautiful town with white sand beaches. Tour length 11 hours. TROLLEY HOP & BAY CRUISE
Take a 45 minute narrated cruise on the beautiful San Francisco Bay and combine it with a Trolley Hop Tour onboard an authentic San Francisco motorised cable car.
