General terms and conditions
In these terms and conditions, “we” and “us” mean GO Holidays, the trading name of GO Holidays Ltd retail division, a company incorporated in New Zealand and having its registered office at Level 4, 66 Wyndham Street, Auckland, New Zealand, and “our” shall be construed accordingly.
Your use of this travel web site and on-line reservation facilities such as 'booking form' and 'booking online' here-by referred to as the 'booking engine' is subject to the following Standard Terms of Service and Trade:

All title, ownership rights and intellectual property rights, including copyright, rest with us (GO Holidays Ltd). All content of this travel web site and booking engine, the licensor and / or provider of this site. Unauthorised use of any of this property is strictly prohibited.
The Agent and its third party suppliers have taken reasonable care that the content of this travel web site, including all travel information and listings is correct but is subject to amendment at any time without notice. The Agent publishes such information in good faith. As the user you acknowledge and accept that:
- The Agent cannot and has not checked the accuracy of all information provided by travel service providers such as airlines and hotels.
- The hotel listings may include errors and travel service providers such as airlines, hotels, wholesalers and car suppliers are requested and encouraged to correct and update their information regularly and as needed.
- You should make your own evaluation of the accuracy or completeness of any information, opinion, advice or other content available through the facility.
- You are solely responsible for the suitability of any travel services, which you purchase by means of the service. In particular, we are not liable for any inconvenience caused or expense incurred as a result of any unsuitability of travel services for use in association with other travel services.
- All maps, illustrations and photographs are for indicative purposes only and may not necessarily reflect actual places or positioning.
Any Agent's role in relation to your travel arrangements is limited to facilitating your booking and arranging travel documentation, payments and refunds as applicable. The Agent accepts responsibility for the performance of this role and for the negligence of its employees. However, to the maximum extent permitted by law, the Agent disclaims all liability for any technical errors, corruption of any data, unauthorised access to your personal data, inaccuracies in information supplied by third parties, or failure by the Agent to complete bookings where that failure is due to circumstances beyond its control.
We accept no responsibility or liability for any failure or delay on the part of any third party in providing travel services to you where your booking has been properly processed by it; nor are we responsible for any acts or omissions of airlines or other third parties in the course of delivery of such travel services. Where we are liable to you under these terms and conditions its liability will be limited to providing the relevant booking services again or to refunding money paid in relation to services not provided because of the Agent's default. Where refunds are due to you from third party suppliers of travel products or services, we will provide reasonable assistance to you in claiming such funds from those suppliers. Under no circumstances will we be liable for direct, indirect, consequential or incidental damages including but not limited to lost profits or savings or damages for disappointment.
We cannot accept responsibility for any travel service, rules and conditions that are incorrectly represented within this system. The data and services shown are provided in good faith and 'as is'. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of any data or services provided and to the maximum extent permitted by any law disclaimer all implied warranties in connection with such data or services. In no event shall we be liable for any injury, loss, claim, damage or any incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost profits or savings, arising out of or in any way connected with the use of any display within this site.
By registering for the service, you warrant to us that you are at least eighteen (18) years old. You must have sufficient credit on your credit card account to meet all charges for travel services you book through this web site.
You must read the travel-specific terms and conditions at the end of these terms and conditions and convey all information set out in those terms and conditions to any other parties covered by any booking you make.
You must keep secure any means of identification that we provide to you in order to access the service. You must not resell the service or any products or services accessed by means of the service, or permit any other person, other than adult members of your household or others with your express permission and under your personal supervision, to use your user identification to access the service. You are responsible for all use of the service, and all transactions entered into by means of the service, using this user identification.
You must not use the service for any activities which breach any laws, infringe any party's rights, or breach any standards, content requirements or codes promulgated by any relevant authority. You must not use the service in any way that interferes with other users or defames, harasses or menaces anyone.
You indemnify us from and against all actions, claims, suits, demands, liabilities, costs or expenses arising out of or in any way connected to use of the service by you or any other person using your membership identification or password.
You acknowledge that copyright subsists in all software, including HTML code, provided in association with the Service. You must not modify, copy, transmit, display, perform, publish, license or create derivative works from any information or software accessed by means of the Service. Where copying or transmission is expressly permitted, you must not change or delete any author attribution or copyright notice.
You acknowledge that we may receive all commission from transactions entered into using the service.
You agree that where our services are acquired for business purposes, or where you hold yourself out as acquiring our services for business purposes, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 will not apply to any supply of goods or services made under these conditions, and we will not be liable or responsible for any loss or damage of any kind to you, including any consequential loss or damage however it may be caused.
Prices shown on this website are on a per person basis unless otherwise stated and are expressed in New Zealand dollars unless otherwise stated. Vehicle rates are per vehicle.
All prices are subject to availability and exclude travel agent service fees.
Prices shown on this website are based on current tariffs, schedules and exchange rates. Although we endeavour to ensure the information on our website is up to date, events beyond our control such as currency fluctuation, changes to the price of aviation fuel or changes to the cost of services and facilities, may result in prices charged to you being different than those shown on the website. Airline and third party suppliers have the right to amend prices at any time without notice. Third party suppliers may change their prices without notice. Prices therefore can only be guaranteed once full payment has been received.
Prices are based on a land and air package cost subject to change if only land is booked.
If land only is booked a minimum fee of $10 per file will be charged if the file is worth under $200.
The general booking form constitutes a request only and we do not guarantee fares or prices until the booking has been confirmed by one of our consultants and paid for in full.
Prices showed on this website are based on payment by cheque, cash or eftpos only. Should you wish to pay by credit card, please contact us.
Items not covered
Unless otherwise specified, the cost of meals, drinks, laundry, insurance, sightseeing, local taxes, airport departure taxes and Passport or Visa application fees are not included in prices displayed.
Acknowledgement of your booking request will be sent via e-mail or telephone call within 48 hours of your request being received. Please ensure you check your e-mail regularly.
Payment must be received within 72 hours of booking confirmation unless otherwise agreed by us the agent. Failure to pay for tickets within this time results in automatic cancellation of the booking. We accept no responsibility for loss incurred due to automatic cancellation or failure of e-mail delivery.
We will assist in providing information based on the information supplied by you in the booking form or booking engine. This information as well as other related information supplied by the Agent and any links within the site are supplied in good faith; however should be treated as a guideline only. The final responsibility for ensuring documentation is correct is that of the individual traveller. The posting/courier of travel documentation is the responsibility of you. The agent will not be held responsible for tickets lost by a third party, any charges associated with reissue and re sending of documentation will be at your expense.
A minimum non-refundable deposit of $150 per person must be paid to us within seven (7) days of verbal or written confirmation of a booking request. Certain suppliers may also require an additional booking fee, deposit or full payment to be made at this time. A booking request less than seven (7) days prior to departure may incur additional communication charges.
Final payment must be made no less than thirty (30) days prior to departure.
Booking Cancellation and Amendment Charges
Certain fees may be payable in respect of transactions entered into using the Service, as notified at the time of the relevant transaction. These fees may include cancellation fees and, where amendment is permitted, amendment fees. In some cases, Agents may charge cancellation and/or amendment fees in addition to those imposed by travel service providers.
Unless otherwise notified to you at the time of entry into the relevant transaction, a minimum charge of $150 per person is payable to the Agent in respect of any cancellation. These fees are required to offset booking, communication and administration charges, which will have already been incurred by us. In addition to our cancellation fee, you may also be required to pay cancellation fees imposed by our Suppliers (i.e. airlines, hotels etc). The amount of each Supplier’s cancellation fee is beyond our control and payment is solely at your responsibility.
A cancellation fee of $150 per person will be imposed where cancellation is made within thirty (30) days prior to your departure.
Where amendment of a booking is permitted, a charge of $25 per person is payable to the Agent for each permitted amendment. The amendment fee will increase to $50 per person if documents have been issued.
Before entering into a transaction, you should carefully check to see whether any other cancellation or amendment fees apply. These charges will be deducted from your credit card at the time charges are incurred.
- Trans-Tasman airfare only: from $50
- Domestic airfares within NZ and Australia: from $50
- Airpoint Bookings: from $50 per ticket
- Long haul International Tickets: from $100
- Internet based airline bookings - from $50 per ticket
For land only and package holidays bookings with a value less than $500, a service fee of $50 per booking will apply. For all other land only bookings these services fees may be waivered. Amendment and cancellation fees will still apply if necessary.
Reconfirmations and Revalidations
For any ticket reconfirmations and revalidations not originally booked through GO Holidays, a fee of $50 will apply.
Online Booking and Purchases
Unless otherwise expressly stated on the site, We acts as agent for its third party providers and distributors for all products and services purchased by you on this site. You may place bookings for or may make purchases of products and services online at this site. A contract for the sale and purchase of products and services may be made online at this site by your acceptance of the products and services offered on the site (the "Contract") by third party providers and/or distributors and/or where stated, We, and you hereby agree to waive any rights to challenge the validity or enforceability of Contracts entered into on this site on the grounds that it was made in electronic form instead of by paper and/or signed or sealed. Please note that by indicating your acceptance to purchase any product or service offered on the site, you are obligated to complete such transactions. You are prohibited from indicating your acceptance to purchase products and services where you do not intend to complete such transactions. You may not purchase goods or services that you are prohibited from purchasing or possessing by any applicable local laws. The responsibility for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws shall be yours alone. By submitting an order to purchase goods or services, you represent and warrant that you have the legal right to purchase, utilise and/or possess such goods or services.
You may be bound by terms and conditions imposed by the travel service providers for whom We act as an agent including conditions of carriage, refund and cancellation policies of airlines, cruise lines, car hire operators, hotels, etc.
We are not liable for any claims against non-fulfillment or unsatisfactory fulfillment of products and services purchased on your behalf by Us from these third party providers and distributors, such as, but not limited to, airlines, hotels, tour operators, car hire companies, insurance companies, and other entities. At times, airlines and other travel services providers may overbook passengers on their flights or re-schedule flight times - We are not responsible for any such incidents.
You understand that all products and services purchased require fulfillment and documentation, such as issuance of air tickets and travel vouchers. Fulfillment is performed during normal office hours. As such, any travel requests and bookings made require a minimum processing time of varying periods, subject to the specific terms and conditions applicable to the type of product or service purchased.
We will not be held liable for any claims for loss, damages or compensation against non-fulfillment should you purchase a product or service that cannot be fulfilled between the time of booking and the time of departure. In such an event, We shall refund to you all unutilised monies collected from you for that purchase.
All prices are subject to change until full payment is received and are subject to travel service provider availability. A booking fee may be payable on some bookings. Some airport taxes are not pre-payable or pre-paid; you must pay these when required. Some airlines or travel service providers have introduced fuel surcharges which may not be reflected in the prices shown and will be an additional charge. For travel services such as air tickets, hotels, cars, packages or cruises-availability, prices, fare conditions and class of travel can change at any time without notice. Routing restrictions and other special conditions may apply.
Many countries require that foreign nationals entering hold a passport with at least six months validity remaining. This information as well as other related information supplied by GO Holidays and any links within the site are supplied in good faith; and should be treated as a guideline only. Passport, Visa (including transit visa/s) and Health requirements are the responsibility of all individual travellers. The sole responsibility for ensuring travel documentation is correct is that of the individual traveller. We reserve the right to decline any booking or purchase for any reason and shall not be held liable for any resulting claims for loss, damages or compensation. In such an event, We shall refund to you all unutilized monies collected from you for that purchase.
You agree to bear the full cost of any booking, cancellation and administration fees for any products or services booked but not utilized for any reason. In some cases, GO Holidays may charge cancellation and/or amendment fees in addition to those imposed by travel service providers.
You agree that multiple over-lapping bookings for the same traveler/s are not allowed and may result in damage and loss to GO Holidays, which you will bear in full.
We strongly recommend that as a minimum you insure yourself fully against cancellation, disruption, loss of luggage and personal property, and medical expenses. Your travel consultant will be able to provide you with further information.
Travel Documentation Passport, Visa and Health requirements are the responsibility of all individual travellers. Passports are required for all travellers departing New Zealand. Permanent residents travelling on a foreign passport may need to hold a New Zealand Re-entry Visa. Many countries require that foreign nationals entering hold a passport with at least six months validity.
We are happy to obtain a visa on your behalf provided there is an appropriate embassy in New Zealand. We charge a $30 administration fee per person per visa, including Australian electronic visas, in addition to the cost of the visa. We will only obtain a visa on your behalf if you have confirmed travel arrangements or have paid a deposit on travel arrangements through GO Holidays. We will endeavour to do everything in our power to obtain your visa but please be aware the ultimate decision lies with the embassy involved.
Any claims or legal action in connection with the provision of our services to you, will be governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any claim or legal action against the Suppliers is likely to be subject to the terms of your contract with them and may be governed by the laws of other countries.
By using this website you authorise us to collect information about you and hold it at our office. The only personal information we will have will be what you give us. We will use this information to offer services and special holiday deals to you from time to time and for statistical purposes.
